The October Team is in Honduras!

Dear Friends and Family,

Today was a beautiful start to our medical mission trip here in Honduras! Our team arrived from all over — Virginia, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, and even Chile — all united with one purpose and one heart to serve.

As soon as we cleared customs, the Honduran team (Fernando and Geovany) welcomed us with warm hugs, bright smiles, and then packed the bus to start the adventure.  This made us feel like old friends reuniting! Albita and Karen made delicious tamales that filled our travel hungers before dinner. The love and hospitality here are truly humbling.

During our evening devotion, each team member shared how God led them to this place for this exact week. It was powerful to hear everybody's unique journey all pointing to the same faithful God. We can already see His hand at work in every detail — in the travel, the laughter, the prayers, and the new friendships forming.

We’re excited for what the days ahead will bring and how God will continue to move through this team and these communities. Thank you for your prayers and support — they mean the world to us.

Here’s to tomorrow filled with packing supplies, learning our individual roles and of course to experience the beautiful creation of Honduras at Pulhapanzak (140.8 foot waterfall!)
