June 18, 2026 Our team had another wonderful day serving community members in Honduras. Despite the heat and humidity, we were able to serve a large number of families today. We were astounded by the determination of the people who came seeking help. Many families walked long distances over difficult terrain to reach the clinic. 6/17/2026 Beauty in The Broken Roads Today we traveled down long highways and up, around, and over mountains. On pothole riddled roads with large rocks and deep duvets. May 22, 2026 Today we visited La Virtud. We started our day with breakfast baleadas with the Honduran staff. A very special gathering to end the week as a cohesive team. May 21, 2026 Today we visited El Caliche! It was quite the adventure over the hills and through the woods! Similar to Tuesday a common low for today was the drive was long and bumpy and didn’t sit well for those who suffer from motion sickness and/or small bladders. May 20th, 2026 Today we visited Brisas del Campo. This was a much shorter drive compared to yesterday, but as is common on team trips, many team member's lows involved being a little tired today. Another common low for today was the language barrier. May 19, 2026 Today we traveled to a Laguna De Jicaro. This community is extremely remote and difficult to reach by vehicle. Most of the community does not have electricity or potable water and supplies are brought in once a week. The drive was quite rough and long with about a third of the trip being on a very rocky dirt path. May 18, 2026 Today was clinic day one. We started the day with a beautiful sunrise and breakfast while listening to a song to honor our long-term friend and mentor Patti Wagner. May 17, 2026 Team aMAYzing had a very eventful day. The morning began with a bean and cheese toast and papaya breakfast. Then a gorgeous adventure pontooning on Lake Yojoa. Called to Serve - April 24, 2026 On our last day in Honduras, our medical mission served Cañada de Balín. The community has 250 residents and 60 families. We ended up serving fewer families than we had anticipated due to it being harvest time, a vivid reminder that of the fact that 90% of the people work in agriculture.
