*A Rainy Day, Full Hearts: El Capulín with Friends of Barnabas* Our January Trinity team made its third visit to El Capulín, a small community named for the cherry trees that grow nearby. The day greeted us with steady rain, which meant fewer families were able to travel to the site. Even so, the spirit of the day was anything but small. Buena Vista
Tuesday, January 20th, 2026 Today we traveled to Buena Vista, high in the mountains. It rained steadily all day, and clouds surrounded us, but that did not discourage villagers from coming to the clinic. The roads were too muddy and slick to allow for safe passage of the bus, which required the team to hike to and from the bus. Unfortunately, we had to leave the clinic early due to worsening weather.
