Today was spent making memories, eating and preparing for our first day in the villages. We began the day with a delicious breakfast prepared by Karen and Albita. After breakfast we headed to Centro Turistico Cataratas Pulhapanzak. One of the most beautiful tourist attractions in Honduras. Here we ziplined over Pulhapanzak Waterfall.....it is only 30 less vertical feet than Niagara falls!
We made a quick stop to the grocery store before heading back to Alfredo's House for lunch. After lunch we sorted medication and prepared baggies to take to the villages. We took advantage of a couple of hours of down time by sipping coffee, porch sitting and swinging in the hammock. After a fabulous dinner at Cabanas Agra Azul that overlooked Lake Yojoa, we settled in early to get a good night's rest. Tomorrow we visit our first village, where we will be setting up medical stations.
