El Lanillal

God took us today to El Lanillal - high in the mountains on a rainy and foggy day where we found our joy.

When we arrived, we were welcomed by a lot of volunteers and a warm and caregiving family that opened not just their home, but their hearts.

God bonded us emotionally with the community. We experienced joy in finding many healthy families and many examples of gratitude.

Colleen (from our medical staff) had her heart touched by how a grandmother took care of her grandkids, and Colleen emotionally gave her cross to her - praying, hugging and blessing the family. Today our team gave five crosses out to people that impacted us. Dr Charlie (our Chiropractor) could not have been happier after seeing so much relief and many smiles as he practiced his procedures giving immediate pain relief.

God was with Sassy all day long as she worried about children’s reactions before dental procedures. Along with the concern, God provided her with a solution that resulted in many smiles on today’s patients.

Overall the team feels that they received more blessings from today’s experiences than what they gave. In concluding today’s mission, Colleen’s devotion reminded us that because we are loved by God that we have a responsibility to share ourselves wholeheartedly.
