Sadly our week is winding down... much has been accomplished, but there is much left that needs to be done. Hopefully the new Maintenance Manager at the Barnabas house, Manuel, can continue the unfinished projects. The entire team has been so impressed with his ability, talent and work ethic!
Today all the chain link was attached to the fence posts and the cinder block was capped with concrete. The only thing left is to remove the forms and clean up around the work area. There are a few chairs still need paint.
We also worked on gift bags for all the staff. The repair team purchased goodies to go in the bags for their Christmas including food items as well as cleaning supplies.
The day ended with evening devotion by Danilo, translated by Nury. What an amazing man! He has been at the Barnabas House from its inception. Danilo lives on the FOB campus and only goes to his home on weekends, traveling about 150 miles each way. Those of you that have been to Honduras know he's hard working, has an outstanding personality and an easy smile.
