August Team #1 2026 Friday, August 6th Enjoyed a breakfast with the entire F.O.B. team on the carport. Then we had a quick and smooth ride to the community of Colonia 3 de Octubre. August Team #1 2026 Thursday, August 6th Another rain storm rumbled through last night leaving us with a fresh new day and some questions about how our road would be for this morning’s travels. We spent the first part of our journey to the town of Piletas speeding along a main road before turning off and beginning our climb up and up. August Team #1 2026 Tuesday, August 4th Today we traveled through the amazing Honduran countryside to El Matazano. This is one of the farthest communities that we visit (about 2 hours). A village without electricity. Today we had 53 families come to the clinic. Many families are quite large with lots of precious children. Gary gave his cross to the community leader who did a great job greeting us-they formed a good connection, and he touched Gary’s heart. Jackie laughed when

August Team #1 2026 Monday, August 3rd We had a great day in Plancitos de Suyapa, that is after we got there. I have not been able to capture the narrow width and steep climb and inevitable descent that our amazing driver Giovany managed to safely get us through. For those who are interested, and Gary, we saw lots of banana trees, coffee bushes and corn planted and tended on these steep slopes. We met with and cared for 36 families. August Team #1 2026 Sunday, August 2nd Getting settled and taking in the area. We took a moment to enjoy the natural beauty, calming effects of the water . . . (and birds right Gary?) with a boat ride on Lake Yojoa departing from Las Glorias Resort. On the way back to Alfredo house we made a stop at the local grocery store to snag some snacks and hot sauce. Saturday August 1st The #1 August team arrived at Alfredo House at 2:30 p.m. after a good but long day of travel. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner of Chicken, Rice and Beans, Squash and onions, cucumber salad, tomato salad and roasted cauliflower. Served with hibiscus tea and horchata.
