After a restful night’s sleep, we woke to the vibrant sounds of tropical birds and the aroma of fresh coffee. Following breakfast, Shirley led us in a devotion on resilience and trusting God. Soon after, we experienced a joyful reunion with our friends—the Honduran staff and translators, who will be serving alongside us this week.

With the bus packed, we began our journey down the Pan American Highway toward southern Honduras. It was a beautiful drive, framed by stunning views of the mountainside. At one point, a few of our phones pinged with "Welcome to El Salvador," as we were just a stone's throw from the boarder.

After settling into our hotel for a little rest and relaxation, we gathered for a delicious dinner prepared by our beloved Karen and Albita. Janet then shared a moving devotion about the true treasures in life, and Chris walked us through Minerva’s detailed community assessment to prepare us for the week ahead. We are fully equipped, inspired, and ready for tomorrow.
