Plan Grande

Every day we are asked where we see Jesus. Today we woke to a beautiful sunny day in Honduras when most of our families at home woke to snow on the ground. We definitely saw Jesus right from the sunrise. 

Today is Wednesday and we traveled to Plan Grande. The clinic day started well when after the introduction three people asked to be prayed for and be anointed for healing. We were blessed to have three members from the Southern Command join us in our endeavors. The Southern Command actually built the school building we were using for clinic in 2011. As the day progressed the serviceman noticed some of the equipment needed repair and offered to purchase needed supplies.    

The general theme in the team discussion today was that each center had established a rhythm to their work and today was a nice day. That was a great contrast to the first day when we all felt a little overwhelmed getting used to the routine! 

Martha shared a story of a 47-year-old woman she saw whose complaint was fatigue and she just looked sad. The woman had 13 children, and one had died. Martha offered her the best medicine we have – they prayed together. We saw Jesus today.
