Day 6 - Stream of Consciousness

- Consistent amazement at the community members who show up - often walking for miles for medical care, waiting for hours to complete each station with such patience and dedication to their families.

- Pure admiration for the Friends of Barnabas staff, who reciprocate and glorify God’s call to be the hand and feet.

- Slow churning sadness knowing this Mission will “end” tomorrow, hoping the memories of the people, the fellowship, and the God winks remain engraved in my mind’s eye.

- The realization that our experiences can never be explained, posted, shared with the intensity felt.

- The absolute desire that each reader has the opportunity to participate and encounter all the feels (except the diarrhea of course).

- The hope that the relationships forged in Alfredo House and on the Magical Medical Bus continue to grow and develop back in the States.

- Headed home. Sufficiently full.

-Amy and Audrey
