Another Community Served ❤️🇭🇳✝️

Another community welcomed us today, and once again, we were reminded that serving others is about so much more than the work we accomplish.

Linda led with welcoming the community & sharing the story of Barnabas. A community leader followed by leading all of us in prayer. We didn’t understand every word that was spoken, but we didn’t need to. We could feel the presence of Jesus among us. There was something incredibly powerful about standing together, speaking different languages, yet lifting our hearts in prayer to the same Jesus Christ. In that moment, there were no language barriers—only God’s people coming together in His presence.

As the day unfolded, more special moments reminded us why we are here.

Bryan formed a special connection with a young child who greeted him with hugs and welcomed him with a remarkable sense of trust. The child felt safe with Bryan and continued to seek him out, creating a sweet bond that needed no words. When the cross Bryan had given him broke, the child immediately brought it back to Bryan, trusting him to fix it. It was such a simple moment, yet it spoke so clearly of the trust and connection that can grow when we open our hearts to one another.

Amy gave her cross to a mother with two beautiful daughters and a baby boy on the way. Her youngest daughter immediately jumped into Amy’s arms when the team first arrived bringing an immense sense of joy with her sweet spirit and infectious smile. Her older daughter was equally sweet and polite. In those few moments, their pure joy and innocence, Amy was moved by this beautiful family this mother was raising. She gave her cross with a prayer and well wishes for a safe delivery, along with gratitude for the love and care she was giving her daughters.

Today was hard work. The clinic was hot, humid, and busy, but our team continued to work together, caring for each family who came through our doors. And even in the heat, there were still plenty of smiles, laughter, hugs, and stories of joy to carry with us.

Another community served. Another day of lives touched. And once again, we are realizing that while we may come here to serve, God continues to bless us through the people we meet.

We may not always understand every word. But we understand love, trust, gratitude, and the presence of Jesus. ❤️✝️🇭🇳
