Today at Ruth Paz Hospital, the dream of a permanent pediatric cardiac surgical ward and intensive care unit became reality with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 am.
Rotary International partnered with cooperating organizations Ruth Paz Foundation and Friends of Barnabas to open and equip a permanent pediatric cardiac surgical ward and intensive care unit at Ruth Paz Hospital in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.
Speakers at the opening included Nury Janania, FOB's Honduran Program Director, Mary Ann Kafati, President, Ruth Paz Foundation, and Mary Beth Sams, FOB's President.
Members of the host Rotary Club Valle de Sula were present as well as members of six of the supporting Rotary Clubs.
