Creating a social media fundraiser is a generous way to be a part of the work that Friends of Barnabas does. Not only does it raise necessary financial support, but it also shares the mission and allows those closest to you to become involved in a cause that is already close to your heart.

Get Started

Go to Mightycause

Go to www.mightycause.com and search for Friends of Barnabas in the search bar or go to: https://www.mightycause.com/organization/Friends-Of-Barnabas-Foundation

Set Up a Fundraising Page

Click "Get Started" and "Build your fundraiser"

Edit the Story

Personalize the story with why you love Friends of Barnabas and share a challenge for your loved ones, such as raising a certain goal or asking them to give a certain amount for a certain cause. For example, "In lieu of a birthday gift, please consider giving $25 towards the Extended Care Program."

Click "Fundraise"

Click the “Fundraise” button. You will be asked to log in or sign up. If you have used Mighty Cause in the past, use the same log-in information. If you are new to Mighty Cause, it is easy to create an account with your email address.

Edit the Title, Goal & Duration

A template Mightycause Page should populate. Make any edits you wish to the title, goal, duration, or picture by clicking the pencil button next to each section. You can add a picture of you in Honduras or personalize the title with your name. For example, "Linda's Birthday Fundraiser."

Click Publish & Share the Page

Click "Publish," located on the right side of the screen or in the blue bar at the top of the screen. Your success in fundraising will be dependent upon sharing your page. Copy the link at the top of the page or click "Share this Page," located under the Donate button. Share the link by email, text, and on social media. When your fundraiser is over, please hide or delete your Mightycause page. Thank you!
