Dr. Arthur “Jay” Ulm, III

Arthur “Jay” Ulm, III, grew up in the small town of Enterprise, in south Alabama. After graduating from Auburn University with a B.S. in zoology, he went on to attend medical school at the University of Alabama- Birmingham. He recently completed his residency training for neurological surgery at the University of Florida. Currently he is in fellowship training at Vanderbilt Medical Center to learn more about endovascular neurosurgery. Upon completion of his fellowship in December, 2006, he will join a well-established neurosurgery group in Macon, Georgia.

Jay enjoys many hobbies, including running (he ran in the Honolulu Marathon in 2002), working out, painting and spending time with his family. Since his first medical mission trip to The Gambia, Africa, Jay has felt called to make medical missions a priority in his life. Jay is married to Christy Cox Ulm and they have a son, Matthew John Ulm.
