'Living Waters' at the Barnabas House

Health begins with clean water, and thanks to Living Waters for the World, The Barnabas House can now provide pure water for the children in our care, our staff, and visiting medical and surgical teams. The system was planned and funded by a team from Christian Community Presbyterian Church from Bowie, Maryland. The team visited the Barnabas House and installed the equipment with the help of the FOBF staff.

The entire Barnabas House staff was trained on the system’s operation. Our neighbors at the Lake Yojoa Academy and the Calvary Chapel Church also attended the seminar. We were most excited to have the community leaders from six areas that have a number of children enrolled in our Extended Care Program. They want better health in their villages and they, like us, know that it begins with clean water.

Thanks to our new friends from Christian Community Presbyterian Church and Living Waters for Life. We hope to work with you again in the near future.
