Ann Bokelman |
| Ann Bokelman, a native of
Indiana, has made Richmond, Virginia her home since 1977. Ann holds BSN
and MS degrees from Ohio State University. Her clinical focus has been on
obstetrics and women’s health, but a strong interest in nursing education
led her Southside Regional Medical Center (SRMC) School of Nursing, where
she joined the faculty in 1990. In 2005, Ann became the Associate Director
for Online Education and is responsible for the online nursing program at
the school. Ann is very active in SRMC’s annual mission trip to Honduras
through the Friends of Barnabas Foundation and organizes a benefit auction
that covers the team’s costs for the nursing students. Ann and her husband, Gordon, have two grown daughters and one granddaughter. Their free time is devoted to enjoying the beauty of Sunset Beach, North Carolina. |
